You’re right! But it’s honestly more than that….I don’t think I’d be able to set foot inside that department without getting judged. There are far too many people who know me or know of me, and I don’t think I would be welcomed there. My past with my ex could even ruin my reputation. He’s a pretty well respected member. If I joined, I guarantee it would create unnecessary drama. I need to keep him in the past and joining his fd is not a smart idea. Trust me, I wish I could, but at the same time, I know he could never bring himself to work along side me. And idk if I could either.

My ex is in the fd in my town. And normally I wouldn’t let something like that hold me back, but I thought about it, and honestly it’s for the best I don’t join my town’s fd. It’s his territory, and there’s a bad past behind us.
